What is the CMS Conference for Building a Healthier America?

The 2025 CMS Conference for Building a Healthier America will convene leaders from federal and local agencies, health provider organizations, academia, community-based organizations, and others, both in person and virtually. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to hear from CMS leadership on recent developments and updates to CMS programs; explore the latest research; and collaborate on community engagement strategies.

When and where will the conference be held?

The conference will be held on April 23-24, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Bethesda, Maryland. The conference will also be available online for virtual participation.

We encourage attendance from:

  • HHS, CMS, and other government employees
  • Health care professionals
  • Insurance providers
  • Federal contractors
  • Community groups
  • Non-governmental organizations
  • Researchers

How can I make my room reservation for the 2025 CMS Conference for Building a Healthier America?

Our 2025 CMS Conference for Building a Healthier America room block will be available soon. Rooms will be available on a first come, first served basis and must be booked by March 25, 2025, to receive the group rate of $276, which falls into the government per diem. This rate does not include taxes and fees.

Will meals be provided at the conference?

While meals will not be provided at the conference, the Hyatt Regency is an 8-minute walk from Bethesda Row, home to a wide variety of eateries. Additional restaurants are available near the hotel, and a full-service coffee shop is located in the hotel lobby.

Will I earn credit for attending the conference?

CMS will not be providing CEUs for this conference. Attendees may email omhcon@ketchum.com at the conclusion of the conference to request a Certificate of Attendance.
